POETRY

EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF LOVE

we, the intouchables, go lightly
displacing baryons at will
deathless we dance
breathless we emerge
just as we are

ARIA, NO. 7

what need have we
of new days?

we – derelicts
of now,

what can tomorrow
do for us?

bite this fruit

embrace
no matter the cost

my name
as it leaves
your lung

most sweetbitter
wound

this tongue
