ABOUT THE ARTIST

Darja Könnig is a dedicated scientist, design thinker and photographer. She was born in 1979 in the German Democratic Republic. As a young child she developed a fascination in analogous photography and the magic in photo development. At the age of 12 she received her first camera. Since this moment her passion for photography has evolved with every single picture taken or seen, a process that hopefully will never end.  She lives and studies in Lausanne, Switzerland.
