‘War is Coming’

One year on from writing and releasing this song, I still feel we are living on the cusp of unprecedented upheaval. Nearly everyday seems to highlight the impending struggle for humanity.

Grievances, imbalance, fear, injustice, uncertainty have all contributed to the puncturing of the invisible skin that for the most part has kept the world from spilling over into outright global war for the last 60 years.

Living in Berlin often feels like being in the eye of the hurricane. We can see the storm around us and we even feel it’s effects sprinkle in from time to time but the brunt of the damage is still removed from our doorsteps.

Who will win out in the end? It’s too early to tell but one thing is clear in my mind. It’s no longer acceptable to sit on the sidelines. In today’s world it’s time to choose a side.
