‘Coverage’
To ‘cover’, or to use ‘coverage’ means to hide something, or sometimes even protect something. The same term is used in cosmetic makeup—coverage. Women cover their faces with makeup on a daily basis, but why? Why do we feel the need to cover in order to perfect? Is it a form of protection, a shield? What does this added layer do? I wish that I knew the answer. But if I cover the rest of my body does that mean it will start to appear perfected to others, or even to myself? Has perfection been achieved? It doesn’t seem to work that way. In this video, I open up all these questions as I cover my body with makeup.
